Frequently Asked Questions

As a member of the British Columbia Association of Clinical Counsellors (BCACC), I am authorized to offer therapy services throughout British Columbia. I provide both telehealth/teletherapy sessions and in-person appointments, with in-person sessions available in downtown Vancouver.

The ideal frequency for counselling sessions is typically once a week or every other week, as this allows for steady progress and consistent support. However, I am committed to adapting the schedule to meet your specific needs and preferences, ensuring that the therapy process is as effective and convenient for you as possible.

To determine if your insurance covers my services, please consult with your insurance provider to confirm whether they cover Registered Clinical Counsellors (RCCs). Many extended health plans in BC do offer coverage for RCC services. After our sessions, I will provide you with receipts that you can submit directly to your insurance provider. It is important to verify that your plan includes coverage for RCC services, as reimbursement may not be available if your plan only covers social workers or psychologists.
